| Sullivan West's designated hitter Lindsey Bauer blasted a pair of triples and drove in three runs in the Lady Bulldogs' 8-0 payback blanking of Liberty on May 8. Earlier in the week Liberty shocked their rivals by taking game one 5-3. Liberty pitcher Ceara Williams worked her magic in the first game but in this one Sullivan West were far more patient. Sullivan West’s Lindsey Bauer’s pair of triples paces Lady Bulldogs to get-even win Division IV win over Liberty

LIBERTY, NY—Each season has its defining moments for teams and individuals. For the Liberty softball team, that shining moment came on May 5 with a 5-3 stunning upset over Sullivan West.
In that game Lady Bulldog hitters seemed overanxious against pitcher Ceara Williams who allowed only five hits as Sullivan West batters got mired in a pop-up fest and suffered the crushing home loss.
Liberty’s Ali Maltese had three hits and a pair of RBI to help the Indians to a rarified win over their Carolina Blue rivals.
